It was great. But….

Great location.

Terrible experience. Hard to find and located up a steep set of stairs on the back of a garage property. Very poor finishings with a trash bag covering the television from a dripping AC unit. The door does not have a traditional lock and is missing a deadlock. I had someone enter my unit after I had checked in and used the code to enter while I was undressed and did not feel safe in the unit. I had just been to the hospital and couldn’t move easily so messaged for an extension which they agreed to but wouldn’t approve on the system claiming that the price listed wasn’t correct in an attempt to overcharge me. Despite sending them the money on the Airbnb platform they accepted another reservation while I was still in the unit. They called the police and when the officer arrived I showed the proof of payment and he said that I was lawfully entitled to stay in the unit. Despite this they again entered the unit while I was out and removed my belongings and left in the street. Worst ever.

The location is great and the host is extremely responsive and helpful — they even kindly kept my luggage after checkout, which I really appreciated. Hospitality-wise, the experience was excellent. That said, the room itself is very bare-bones. There are no windows, so it gets stuffy, and there was visible dust. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you don’t have any other options, but the room quality doesn’t quite match the great hosting.

What a great studio apartment. Just as pictured, just as described, easy to find and lots to do. 1 block from restaurants, bus, and so much! What a great place. Highly recommended!!

Perfect for what I wanted, my favorite restaurant is right next door, great brunch spots and cocktails. It was a great stay no complaints at all would definitely stay here again!
